We have cedar wood siding (grey color) and need to get it restained (this time white). Also see moss in some area of siding. We live in a green wooded area. Have 2 questions related to this: 1) Do we need to apply a oil based trimer, before we apply latex exterior stain on the siding? 2) Is it better to paint the siding with brush, roller or spray?? Is one better than the other in this case?? Please advice. Many thanks.
